これから、少し中学３年生の英語作文を掲載させていただきたいとおもいます。

とてもいい作品なので、ぜひご紹介をしたいと思い、本人の了承を取り掲載しています。ぜひ読んでみてください。今回のテーマは宝物です。宝物になりきって書いています。この作品はオチが面白いのです。

題:あなたの宝物について、宝物があなたに話しかけているように書きなさい。

I am a rock. I was dug up on Mt. Tadaginzan six years ago. Then, the owner was seven years old.
How do you feel about me? I am covered with a grain of gold and silver and copper. He was interested in me, so I was brought to his home. I am sleeping on the floor at his house.
However, he has lost me and so I am very lonely. Would you rescue me?
Someday I will be found by you.

Eighteen students came to our school from St. Andrew’s Academy, Scotland.
They participated in several activities unique to Japan: judo, kendo, tea ceremony, calligraphy, etc.
They enjoyed themselves very much and had a good experience, which they will never forget.
The Japanese students also got good opportunities to communicate with them in English.
They were trying to convey their ideas through not only words but also body language.
They looked very happy when they could make themselves understood.
Next month, we will have another opportunity to have an exchange with foreign students.
They will come from Germany. We hope they will also have a good experience and
improve their communicative ability through words and body language.
