2026オーストラリア研修報告⑧
Today, we all visited the Mt.Coo-tha Lookout, as well as the museum and art gallery in South Bank. At Mt.coo-tha, I felt a bit chilly, yet the sunlight was surprisingly strong - it was an interesting combination!
After sightseeing, while waiting in front of the school to be picked up by my host family, it was not until then that I noticed the road in frond of the school is one-way. It is quite rare for me in Japan, so I'm really surprised.
In the car, my hostmother shared some lemon cake a friend of her housemate had baked with me! It was so delicious! She even said she would pack some for my lunch tomorrow, so I'm really looking forward to it!
Afterward, we walked through the forest we visited yesterday, but we took a different route this time. And we saw some wallabies! It was wonderful to see around ten wallabies or more than that. They look like something between kangaroos and foxes. They were so cute!
Also, I am super excited now because I'll be able to see my local buddy again tomorrow, who I met yesterday! They were so friendly and easy to talk to, which made me really happy. I am looking forward to the rest of my school life with my buddy in Australia!
今日はMt.Coo-thaの展望台やSouthBankにある博物館や美術館に皆で訪れました。Mt.Coo-thaでは肌寒く感じたのに日差しが強くて何だか不思議でした。
観光後、学校の前でホストファミリーが迎えに来るのを待っていたのですが、その時初めて学校の前の道路が一方通行なのに気づきました。日本では一方通行の道路は私にとって珍しいので驚きました。
迎えにきてくれた車の中で、ホストマザーが、ハウスメイトが作ってくれたレモンケーキを分けてくれました。とても美味しかったです。明日のお弁当に入れてくれるそうなので楽しみです。
（帰宅後）ホストファミリーと、昨日行った森に、昨日とは別のルートで行ったところ、ワラビーを見ました。10匹かそれ以上のワラビーを見られて良かったです。カンガルーとキツネの間のような動物で、とても可愛かったです。
明日は、昨日会った現地校の生徒であるバディと再会できるのですごく楽しみです！（昨日は）フレンドリーに接してくれ、とても話しやすい子で嬉しかったです。バディと過ごすこれからの学校生活が楽しみです！
