2025年度第８回即興型英語ディベート
On Monday October 6th, we held the eighth debate meeting of this academic year. Again, students took part in two debate.
The first debate topic was Japan should promote the use of nuclear power plants (日本は原子力発電所の利用を促進するべきである) and the second was Companies should not do business with countries where there are human rights violations (企業は、人権侵害がある国と取引をすべきでない). Especially the second motion challenged the students to think about a serious topic - human rights violations - that let to the debate clash point of morality versus ecomomic prosperity. We look forward to challenging the students again next time.
