HPDU県大会に参加しました
On Monday January 12th, Hibarigaoka Gakuen participated in the High School Parlimentary Debate Union of Japan (HPDU) Hyogo Prefectural debate contest online. Our school produced one team of three students from our PDA debate group. Our students did their best to debate using the HPDU debate style, which is also parlimentary, but uses longer speaking times and a more open format. The students were able to debate four interesting topics against students from Hyogo. Despite not being able to progress beyond the tournament, they enjoyed themselves and gained a new appreciation for the depth of information that debate pushes students to know. We look forward to hearing the students' reflections in our PDA meeting on 1/14.
