【中期留学】レポート①

ニュージーランドに留学中のMさんから、留学レポートが届きました。

I have been in New Zealand for three weeks. I would like to introduce my life in NZ in this report.

My host family includes a host mother, 2 children and a dog. They are all very kind to me. We usually watch movies every night.

On the weekends, my host mother takes me out to the beach, museum, park and her friend's house.

For meals, I eat cereal in the morning. For dinner we eat various meals such as rice, hot dogs, and noodles. We have fish and chips about once a week.

At school, I have to take maths, english, social studies, science, ESOL and PE. (ESOL is for international students).

I can also choose 10 subjects which I want to study. I chose food and textile technology.

The school system here in NZ is completely different to the schools back home in Japan.

For example, being able to sit anywhere in a classroom, moving classrooms every class, Māori language is also taught and spoken in school.

In my lunch box, I have a sandwich, fruit and crackers. There is a 30-minute break between the second and third period, that's when I will eat.

Everything is different from in Japan and new to me. I would like to stay and enjoy NZ for a month and a half.
